Center Stage: Nas – King’s Disease II

American Rapper, Songwriter, and Entrepreneur Nas was raised in a musical background. His father is a jazz musician. Over the last few decades, Nas has released twelve studio albums. His music has evolved from underground to mainstream. Just this year, his first album was inducted in the Library of Congress National Recording Registry. 

Over the course of his career, Nas has had his second album titled It Was Written top the charts of the Billboard 200. His most popular single from that album If I Ruled the World (Imagine that) featuring Lauryn Hill stayed at the top of the charts four weeks straight. It is still played over the radio to this day. 

Nas is considered to be the greatest MCs of all time. He has ranked charts under categories such as Top 50 Lyricists of All Time where he was ranked second. Hottest MCs in the Game. Nas has added to his already impressive achievements as Associate Publisher of Mass Appeal Magazine and Co-Founder of Mass Appeal Records. 

Kanye West has served as the Executive Producer on his album titled Nasir. Back in August 2020 the thirteenth studio album was released titled King’s Disease. In August 2021 his most recent album titled King’s Disease 2 was released. It is a sequel to Kings Disease released in August 2020. Some of the artists Nas collaborated with for this album are Eminem, EPMD, YG, Lauryn Hill, Charlie Wilson and Hitboy.
