Kanye West is a man of many talents, songwriter, record producer, fashion designer, rapper, singer, and businessman. Back in the early 2000s, Kanye worked as a producer for Roc-A-Fella Record Label. He has made quite a name for himself over the years.
In 2004 The College Dropout is the title of the debut album. Some of the songs that became singles from this album and landed on the Billboard Hot 100 is; Slow Jamz, Through the Wire, Jesus Walks, and All Falls Down. Back in 2005 The College Dropout was nominated for two Grammy Awards under the category Album of the Year and Best Rap Album. Publications such as Rolling Stones and New Musical Express deemed The College Dropout as one of the greatest albums. Ranking it as number 74 and 273 of the 500 greatest all time albums.
Some of the other albums released by Kanye are Late Registration in 2005, Graduation in 2007, 808s & Heartbreak in 2008, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy in 2010, Yeezus in 2013, The Life of Pablo in 2016, Ye in 2018, and a Christian album titled Jesus is King in 2019. Kanye has collaborated with Jay-Z, Kid Cudi, and Rhianna. Some other collaborations in the fashion industry with Louis Vuitton, Nike and A.P.C. His Collaboration with Adidas in 2013 landed him the shoe brand Yeezy.
Fast forward to 2021, Donda is a creative content company created by Kanye West. The name is a tribute to his late mom, Donda West. It also happens to be the name of his tenth studio album. The album was originally set to be released in July 2020 but was pushed back. It was set to be released to the public in July 2021 but was untitled and pushed back to be released in August 2021. The newest album can be listened to on Apple Music and Spotify. Some musical collaborations speculated for the newest album are The Weeknd and Lil Baby.
