Cousin Stizz has been making waves in the underground rap game in Boston. He is a young rapper who is on the come up. The Boston native has already dropped two mixtapes, both to critical acclaim, and is expected to have a breakout year next year.
Stizz began gaining attention with the release of his first mixtape titled, “Suffolk County,” which dropped on June 1, 2015. The song that first got him some recognition was, “Shoutout.” The track even became the theme song of Drake’s birthday party that year. With more buzz gaining around him he released two more tracks, “Gone Til November” and “A-World.”
Earlier this year he released his second project titled, “Monda,” who he dedicates to his teenage best friend Damone Clark who passed away from bone cancer. This too has given Stizz more buzz, with his second project also getting critical acclaim. The Boston rapper is on the come up and deserves a look. He will be in Santa Ana, California on December 17th at the Constellation Room.
