Nick van de Wall or better known as AfroJack is a DJ from Spijkenisse, Netherlands. AfroJack studied graphic design for a year before beginning his career as a DJ. AfroJack is regularly featured as one of the top ten DJ’s on DJ Mag.
At the age of 14 AfroJack started DJ’ing in local pubs and clubs. He also use to design websites for fellow musicians earing some additional money. In 2007 he released “In Your Face” under the name of AfroJack. The song “Take Over Control” featuring Eva Simons which charted in ten different countries gave AfroJack international success.
In 2011 AfroJack featured in Pit Bull’s number one hit single “Give Me Everything” along with artist Ne-Yo and Nayer. AfroJack also contributed in Beyoncé’s single “Run the World (Girls).” AfroJack received a European Border Breakers Award in January of 2012.
AfroJack co-produced music with other artist like David Guetta, Mike Brown and Madonna. He has been the headliner at a number of EDM festivals like Tomorrowland, Ultra-Music Festival and Coachella. The future looks bright for AfroJack check him out on his Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.
