Presidential Debate 2016

debate

As November 8 approaches the debates between Democratic presidential candidate Hilary Hilton and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump intensify. The second debate had much of the same as their first debate on September 26. Like the first debate Trump wasted no time to attack his Democratic counterpart.

This time Trump accused Clinton of laughing at a 12-year-old female rape victim when she was a legal aid lawyer in 1975. Trump said, “Bill Clinton was abusive to women. Hillary Clinton attacked those same women and attacked them viciously.” The truth was that the defendant actually pleaded guilty to a lesser offense in which he served one year in county jail and four years of probation. Even though there isn’t any proof of this occurring Trump stands by his accusation.

Clinton did not stay far behind when she accused Trump of being a sexes. Clinton mentioned a recorded conversation that Trump had where he tells another man to grab a woman in her private area. Trump tried to justify this by saying that it was just locker room talk.

In this debate both candidates seemed more determine to personally attack each other than answer the questions that the moderator asked. Even when both candidates answered the question there was plenty of distortions of facts. The final presentational debate will be Wednesday, October 19.
