David Junior Ngcobo, a 19- year old rapper from Durban, South Africa, better known as Nasty C is a rapper, songwriter and record producer. Nasty C was influence by his older brother who was a producer at the time, and began rapping at the age of 9. He later signed with an artist management company, Free World Music in Durban.
“One Kid a Thousand Coffins” was Nasty C’s first mixed taped released in 2013. That same year, he was the opening act for AKA, who was a role model to him. During a Durban festival, Nasty C joined AKA on stage, making it one of the best experiences of his life and career at that time. They had become good friends but earlier this year Nasty C talked about how AKA let him down, by not doing what he promised.
In 2015, Nasty C released another mixtape “Prince City” on February 19th. Also, releasing his hit single “Juice Back”, later working with another South Africa artist, Cassper Nyovest, with “Juice Back Remix” making it a big hit. Nasty C also won the award for Best Freshman at the 2015 South Africa Hip Hop awards, for his “Prince City” mixtape.
Earlier this year Nasty C worked on another project with Cassper. He was featured with Cassper and Anatti collaboration with single “Jump”. Nasty C has turned the tables in the Hip Hop industry, and will be debuting him album this year. Be sure to check him out.
