Gemma Griffiths, the indie singer songwriter from Cape Town, South Africa, is defined by her folk-like sound and soulful vocals. In Zimbabwe, where she has spent most of her life, Gemma won the national Eisteddfod vocal cup, making it one of her musical achievements. Not only does Gemma write her own music, she also plays the piano, trumpet, and guitar, and is currently studying towards a songwriting degree in the United States at Snow College in Utah. If that isn’t enough, she is also an avid painter, and a trained ballet, latin, and ballroom dancer.
