Independent Spotlight: K-Blitz

K-Blitz, the MC from Edmonton, AB and member of C.O.B Canada is going on tour. On February 28th he announced on Facebook that he’s going on tour with Doomie Brothers, through Canada. The official dates have yet to be released, but it will be in the

 

This is not the first rodeo for the Edmonton-based MC. He’s performed professionally opening for many popular artist like, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Method Man & Redman, and The Living Legends. He’s been in the game for about 12 years, with 6 albums, 4 mixtapes, and countless features and appearances. In 2010, he had his first radio success internationally with the single “Oh Yeah” from his Album “Top Floor”.

 

In The Spring of 2015, K-Blitz began to release a new track every Saturday calling it, #NewSoundSaturday, releasing a track a week for streaming via SoundCloud. On January 2nd, 2015, he reached week 52 of #NewSoundSaturday, with the song titled “Been A Good Year”, and what a good year it has been for K-Blitz, not many artist can say they’ve release a song every week for 52 weeks, that is a big accomplishment.

 

You can download all 3 mixtapes (Spring, Summer, and Fall) that came from his 52 songs on SoundCloud or find him in Canada during the months of May and on tour.
