INDEPENDENT SPOTLIGHT: Ill-iteracy

ill literacyBy: Cierra New

Ill-iteracy just released their new single “Kingdom” from their upcoming album, SYMPHOSIUM on Il-it records. If you’re familiar with IL-it’s previous albums, The Ensembly Lines and The Signature Series’, you’ll know this track proves to be Ill-iteracy’s most ambitious project yet. Listening to “Kingdom”, it is clear that Ill-it has a deep rooted love for the streets. Their appreciation for the hustle comes from the soul and lives through their lyrics. The gospel inspired backing track insinuates a higher power lives through each verse.

The man behind it all, Chris Prythm has produced track records for artists all over the world. Based out of Virginia, he has worked with artists such as, Lloyd Banks, Raekwon, Wu-Tang Clan and many more. Look out for SYMPHOSIUM, set to drop later this year.
