Public Enemy to Play at ATP Iceland 2015-Center Stage

Public Enemy, an American hip hop group, has confirmed that they will be playing at the ATP Iceland Festival 2015. They will join Iggy Pop, Run the Jewels, and various other artists in this three day festival to perform in All Tomorrow’s Parties Iceland 2015.

Public Enemy is one of the most famous hip hop groups which were established in Long Island, New York. Its members include Chuck D, Flavor Flav, DJ Lord, The S1W, and Professor Griff. This group is well known for being one of the first hip hop groups to gain mainstream media attention for being a seriously political group. Fight the Power is acclaimed to being Public Enemy’s best song and has put this group on the map according to various critics and publications.

All Tomorrow’s Parties, or ATP for short, is an organization based in London in 1999 that promotes festivals, concerts, and records for over 10 years. Barry Hogan, its founder, has claimed that ATP sets itself apart from other festivals by staying intimate, non-corporate, and family friendly. They also incorporate distinct genres and have taken places like the UK, USA, and Australia. This festival is growing, and will continue to grow with the success that it is having.
